Paul Eugene Born To Inspire The World To Dance & Fitness

Chair Aerobics 4 baby boomer’s, seniors and everybody else Chair Aerobics is a workout that anyone can do.  It’s not just for seniors or people with disabilities.  I got introduce to chair aerobics a few years ago when I injured my foot and was scheduled to do a hi intensity cardio show.  The thought came to me to just to a work out from a chair.  The rest is history.  I am grateful and thankful for the thousands who have benefited from it around the world.  What’s on the horizon, “Chair Strength”, strength training done from a chair.  Chair Aerobics is a aerobic exercise that requires little space and just a chair or stability ball. In this workout you will utilize your legs, feet, heels, arms and hands. Benefits Aerobic Conditioning:  A simple routine such as marching in place, pulling arms back a back and forth movement and alternating with over head and front arms push ups will cause the heart rate to climb, thus aerobic conditioning is being achieved. Abdominal Exercises:Transforming the chair marches into seated knee lifts exercises your abdominal area. Ankles and Calves: The heel-toe movement exercises your ankles and calves. This executes a form of dynamic stretching and can develop well-toned calves. Strength Training: Adding light hand weights or can of vegetables you can tone the shoulders, chest, biceps and triceps muscles. Legs:  Extending the legs out and up works the quad muscles in the front part of the leg. Active Healthy Senior This past summer I got carded for the first time being a senior.  I was at a amusement park that classified anyone age 55 and over as a senior.   I asked to purchase a senior admission and the clerk asked for my drivers license.  I just had a ball with it.  She was floored.  Being a senior does not mean being out of shape or looking old.  There are many healthy active seniors who made fitness a lifestyle and are models to young people today, what they can feel and look like at a senior age.
