You may have heard the quote “As a Man Thinketh So Is He”, but do you realize that is only part of the quote? The entire quote is “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” This is found in Holy Bible in the book of Proverbs 23:7. When you read
in it the way it is found it paints a different picture. This quote is talking about someone who pretends to be offering you something for free, but in his heart he is not. It’s all about the person being a pretender and to manipulate!
Truth is a source of great revelation that will set you free!
How many self help inspiration speakers have just use the first part of this verse to convince you that you thinking is what is hindering you from success? And let’s not forget the health wealth preachers too! Have you been a sucker for this? Today you can set your self free from being manipulated into thinking that if only you change your thoughts you can be a success. There is some truth to thinking the correct way to get things done, but you and I know that we have exercise correct thinking and did not get the results we desired all the time. There are circumstances beyond our control that our thinking cannot control.
I hope the next time you here a speaker quoting this you will stop and think and remember the second half of the quote.
