Today I set out on a adventure to cook dinner at home, being Sunday my favorite dish to have is chicken. I though about frying chicken myself instead of going out to a restaurant or Popeye’s or KFC. I am not much of cook, I rarely do it at home, so I google how to cook fried chicken. You guest it, their were thousands of receipts but I decided to use the first on the list.
The recipe listed all the indigents that I would need:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour, divided
- 2 tablespoons garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 3 teaspoons pepper, divided
- 2-1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- 2 large eggs
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 broiler/fryer chickens (3-1/2 to 4 pounds each), cut up
- Oil for deep-fat frying
so that meant a trip to the supermarket for me. I find people for the most part are friendly at the supermarket so I know if I had to ask someone a question they would help me. The one question that I had was the cooking oil. The recipe did not specify a particular type so I was kinda stumped when looking at the shelf of cooking
Are you in the right job? Are you full filled each day you go to the job? There is a quote that says it’s good that a man enjoys all the days of his labor while living here on earth. But how many of us actually do? I think the problem is that we are not listening to our inner self.
