Vegan Diet Improving My Health
I do not know why it took me so long to act on eating a vegan diet. I known for years my doctor had advise me to change my diet but I did not listen. I consider myself like a doctor who tells his patience what to do, but he does not do it himself! That is me, I have taught fitness since 1989, but never really gave much attention to eating healthy. I don’t have the story that I was 300 pounds heavy and I found exercise and diet and I am now the poster child. I have inspired millions to get fit and healthy but took my health for granted. It wasn’t until I was in my mid 50’s that I began to experience heath issues. The first one was Prostate Cancer, which blew me away because I assume I was too healthy to get cancer. Boy was I wrong. I am now 7 years cancer free. But since that time I have put on pounds. I got up to 228 pounds, a far cry from what I use to weight most of adult life between 144 and 174 pounds. It creep in and I was not paying attention. My pant sizes kept going up and up and peak at 40 inch waist. I could not fit even the clothes I brought 6 months ago. I tried the Keto diet, Intermittent Fasting but none of those worked. I don’t know what happen but one day I was on Instagram and saw a ad from Dherbs. It talked about doing a 20 day cleanings of the body with herbs and a Vegan diet. Normally I would brush these kind of things off, but something told me to try it. So I did. I hate taking capsule and that was my first challenge. I figure out a way to take them 6 times a day. I really wished I had opt for liquid drops instead of the capsules. However, I could not believe how I actually adopted to eating a Vegan diet. I loved my french fries, chicken, hamburgers, tacos, soda pop, chips and chocolate candy. I have not had them since I started this. I had cravings for them, but I was able to over come the battles. I started this program on may 2 at 219 pounds, today May 11 I am at 210 pounds. I was ecstatic! And still have 10 more days on this program. I feel so great. When I get down under 200 I will go crazy. I will be able to fit some of the pants that I cannot put on! My mind is clearer, and I have step up my exercise game. I will let you know the final results, Paul Eugene.
